
Week One: Re-Set & Re-Tool
Welcome to our first week of intensive, in-person training. We’ll realign on Veckridge’s “Why,” ensure everyone has the right software, and kickstart our new communication and collaboration tools.
Week One Overview
During our first week, we’ll focus on two main objectives:
- Re-Set Around the Why of Veckridge: Let’s reconnect with what makes us special after 76 years in business, and see how these upcoming changes support our long-term success.
- Ensure Everyone is Set Up & Ready: By the end of the week, we want all software provisioned, machines configured, and everyone successfully using our new tools (e.g., Front, Notion, Issue Tracker, etc.) in their day-to-day work.
Over three days, we’ll be anchoring training in everyday pains—from miscommunications to missed approvals—and actively showing how these new tools and workflows fix them. Your presence is mandatory; we need this short, intense, in-person window to collaboratively solve our biggest challenges.

Day 1: Heritage & Mission
Today’s focus is on company heritage, core tool setup, and fundamental workflows. Our purpose is to re-establish our foundation and renew our shared sense of purpose.

3. Hands-On Practice

Getting Work Done:
- Catch up on inboxes and batches
- Issue logging and using communication tools
- Using NetSuite, Motion, and Front together
- Live help for any issues or questions
